NavyBaby is passionate about how young children learn and play.  Play is the key to all learning discoveries and that real, open-ended resources provide better outcomes for children to develop creativity, imagination and sustained play.

NavyBaby carefully selects specific natural items to create play sets for heuristic play. Heuristic play allows a baby to explore a variety of loose parts or objects to discover and learn what they can do.  This type of open-ended play has no fixed direction or limitations, allowing children’s curiosity to lead the way for an imagination to develop without set outcomes (there is no right or wrong way to play).
